This course will discuss how to leverage official/approved data sources as starting points to maximize the power of publicly available data sources. We will also discuss ways to interpret the findings to discern potential legality issues. We specifically focus on how to leverage advanced search and analytic techniques as well as open source information to investigate information related to cases. This module focuses specifically on pivoting on physical addresses and phone numbers. This course will be a combination of lecture and demonstration, and students can follow along building hands-on skills they can apply immediately in their practice, reducing the turn time for attorneys & clients between asking questions and finding answers.
